Why this Exists

Let's be honest: choosing to run for hours, over mountains, until you're eating gels in the dark and figuring out where to relieve yourself in the woods — that's a little unhinged. Mildly, at least. If you're reading this, you're probably one of us.

I'm an overthinker and a solidly average athlete — not gifted, not naturally fast, just someone who shows up and does the work. It started with shoes: hunting for the pair that actually fit and didn't fall apart by mile 40. A friend told me I was chasing unicorns. Turns out that was just the beginning — I've burned real time and money chasing gear some elite athlete swore by, or whatever topped a Google search, only to find out it was never built with someone like me in mind.

Most gear advice is generic — "best trail shoes of 2026" lists that ignore your terrain, your budget, and what actually works for your needs. This is the opposite: I take in your specifics and hand you a plan built only for you, researched and matched rather than recommended off a template.

Let my crazy help your crazy. I'll do the overthinking so you can go be mildly unhinged in peace — and if that means more people, especially women, feel like they belong at a start line instead of talked out of it by confusing gear and bad advice, even better.
